Scheurich won a special award for its EAD-21/0,7 Loss-In-Weight Feeder. The device extends the characteristics of a high-resolution scale by a feed screw, which allows to process batches in rough industrial environments.

Loss-In-Weight Feeder EAD-21/3,0

  • This scale allows automated dosing processes with an accuracy range of ± 0.5 g (depending on product). That means laboratory accuracy in rough industrial environments!
  • For dosing operation with a reservoir of 3 l / max. 3 kg
  • Possible dosing capacity 0.05 to 1 dm³/min
  • Double-threaded stainless-steel screw Ø 30 mm with adjustable DC drive
  • Can be used for batch and differential dosing
  • Product contact parts made of stainless-steel 1.4301
  • Integrated stirrer unit for safe discharge
  • Optional: Quick closure flaps

  • Weighing range up to 10 kg
  • Static weighing accuracy up to ± 2 g
  • The dosing capacity depends on the bulk material, screw diameter and speed: 
    Screw Ø 30 mm: 0.6 dm³/min (at 50 Hz)
    Screw Ø 50 mm: 3 dm³/min (at 50 Hz)
  • Integrated stirrer (timing belt drive)
  • Can be combined with closure flaps of DS-KLV and DS-KLG series
  • Dosing length standard 500 mm
  • Additional extension bin depending on customer preference optional
